About the challenge

Welcome to the New Year, New Strength Challenge! For us, 2025 is all about getting STRONG! Both of us are in a season where we want to gain muscle, endurance and strength back after having babies in 2024. We would love for you to join us this year if that's your goal, too!

This challenge is all about going back to basics. We're eliminating a lot of the complex combinations movements and going back to the basic foundations of strength training. This challenge is all about building, pushing yourself to failure, and seeing progress and results over the next 8 weeks!

You're going to train 5 days a week, and no workout is going to be over 45 minutes. That's how we roll - show up, work hard, and move on with your day. We hope you'll join us!

MONDAY - Upper-Body Strength

TUESDAY - Lower-Body Strength

WEDNESDAY - Metcon Workout

THURSDAY - Rest Day

FRIDAY - Full-Body Strength

SATURDAY - Retcon Workout

SUNDAY - Rest Day

We will choose a grand prize winner based on the biggest physical transformation, but also the biggest lifestyle transformation! We want to hear about how the challenge changed your life & your mental health just as much as your physical health. All of those things will go into consideration when choosing a winner!

  • Submitted before & after pictures transformation.

  • After you sign up, download the IG story graphic & share it, tagging both Makayla & Stef so we can see your progress and cheer you on throughout the 8 weeks!

How to Take Before & After Photos

  • Wear the same outfit in the same place in each photo.

  • Hold up a piece of paper with “New Year, New Strength Challenge" & the date on it in both photos!

**If you don’t have access to all of this equipment, that’s totally fine! We can offer you modifications & substitutions. Just message us directly in the app with any questions!

Sign up for the challenge on this page, download our app & subscribe to either the $14.99/month or $99.99/year plan (first week is FREE)! If you already have the app downloaded, just sign up on this page, and you’ll automatically have access to the challenge once it begins on December 30th.

Submit before & after photos

Before photos due by Sunday, January 4th and after photos will be due by Sunday, March 22nd. See "How to take Before & After Photos" section above.
