I'm Cookie, and this is my story
At the age of 9, I started running track. I competed in the 400m, 800m, and relays (4 x 1 and 4 x 4). I even competed, and was invited to, the Junior Olympics a few times. I ran track on and off until my second year of college when I transferred out of state for school. This is where I started my fitness journey.
I didn’t know there was a difference between being an athlete and your personal fitness journey until I hit my lowest point in college and started using fitness as a way to heal. I wanted to work on myself inside-out, and fitness became my therapy to do so.
I was a naturally petite woman weighing 98 pounds throughout high school. I could wear a girl's size 12 pants in college. My first two years of college I wanted to put on weight. I knew there was a way I could use fitness to get the body I desired. I wanted more curves. I wanted a bigger butt. But I didn’t want my waist to get bigger — I wanted to shrink it, actually. And though everyone around me thought I was crazy, I knew there was a way fitness and my nutrition could help me obtain my new goals set.
I began going into the gym at late hours to understand my body in a new way. I started using machines offered in ways they weren’t typically used to get the glute activation needed to cause true butt growth. How did I figure this out? I honestly just feel like I was meant to do this because I was like a kid in a candy store figuring out how to transform my body. I went from a 32-inch glute to 36-inch glute in just a matter of 3 months — 98 pounds to 130 pounds. I began to drink protein and eat foods that were great to promote booty growth paired with my workouts.
I never imagined fitness would give me such confidence, and it’s something I wanted to pass along to others — it's too great not to share. Fitness showed me that whatever you put your mind to, and wholeheartedly go after, you can accomplish. I want to help others learn to love themselves and gain confidence not only in themselves but in their dreams as well!
