I'm Dan, and this is my story
My name is Dan Altman and my transformation all came down to self-confidence. I first started training Capoeira when I was about to turn 11 and kept playing with other disciplines like yoga, Thai box gymnastics, and others.
Over the years, I’ve been able to gain long lasting freedom of motion and improve my mentality by implementing certain principles. When I was first starting out, movement was a perfect outlet for the stresses and insecurities I accumulated. I didn’t realize that back then, but those sessions of movement was a meditation — I’d always come out feeling renewed.
Despite the physical changes, there’s a more important change that I must emphasize: and that’s a shift in your mental health. The moment you begin to believe in yourself is the moment you begin to see real results. Our history is not our destiny.
